Website Visitors
When you visit our website, you do so anonymously. We do not collect personal
information. We do log general information about how all visitors use our site,
which is then presented to us in a statistical form.
This information may include your IP address (the Internet address of your
computer), which parts of our website you visit and how long you spend there.
We do not link your IP address to anything personally identifiable. The only
other information provided to us is the type of computer and operating system
you are using. Your browser automatically supplies us with this information.
Mailing List
Any contact details you supply may be added to our mailing list. This may come
about as a result of depositing material, subscribing to the Events Calendar,
Newsreel or the Press Release service, joining Friends of the Film Archive or
donating to The Rosier Fund.
This mailing list is used to advise you of Film Archive events nationally
and in your region. This information is not disclosed to anyone outside the
Film Archive, and you can elect to be removed from the mailing list at any time.
Depositors
Members of the public. When you deposit material with the Film Archive, personal
details are necessary to ensure we can contact you to discuss your deposit. These
details include your mailing address, phone number, email address and the details
of a friend or relative we can contact when we cant locate you. Information
collected by the Film Archive for this purpose is not disclosed to anyone outside
the Film Archive.
Production companies and institutions. Deposits received from production companies
or institutions must also be accompanied by contact details for future reference.
These details may be given to people outside the Film Archive when copyright permissions
are sought.
You can view or amend your details at any time. To do so, email info@nzfa.org.nz
with your request.
