In 'Remade' seven artists have restaged existing works housed in The Archive’s collection. The artists all apply a contemporary cultural lens by variously using humor, homage, and critique to reinterpret and recontextualise these historic materials.

Murder On The Blade? is a feature-length documentary questioning Scott Watson’s conviction for the murder of two young people who disappeared from a party in the Marlborough Sounds on New’s Eve 1997. Keith Hunter will be present and the screening will be followed by an informal Q and A.

Sir Edmund Hillary features in this film programme centring on the 1956-1957 Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Beginning with pre-expedition training of men and dogs in the Southern Alps, followed by the expedition overland via the South Pole and concluding with the Endeavour and men’s homecoming to New Zealand in 1958.
