The New Zealand Feature Project began in May 2004 when the mediaplex opened. The aim of the project is to screen every surviving New Zealand feature film.
Rather than starting with My Lady of the Cave, our earliest surviving feature (1922) and working forward chronologically, or even running alphabetically from A Soldier’s Tale to Zilch, mini seasons have been curated to present the huge range of features held by the Archive.
