Secondary Schools

SCHOOL SCREENING PROGRAMMES, 2006/2007

Secondary screening programmes have been produced in the following curriculum areas: Art/Art History, English/Media Studies, Geography, History and Social Studies.

Choose a curriculum area to view the available screening menu in that subject. Many programmes have become titles in the new On Disk library for secondary school loan. All titles, however, can be screened and guided by teachers on the Film archive team.

For ON DISK titles as screening options at the Archive mediaplex, refer to the On Disk menus.

Screenings are available at the Film Archive’s mediaplex or, in some cases, as outreach screenings at your school.

WHERE:
The Film Archive mediaplex (maximum group size 90)
84 Taranaki Street
Wellington

WHEN:
Bookings Tuesday to Friday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm during school terms.
Screenings usually take 75 – 90 minutes

COST:
$1.50 per student / no charge accompanying adults

OUTREACH SCREENINGS:
At your school (minimum group size 50) / cost negotiable
