Screening programmes are available in the following topic areas supporting topic coverage in NZQA and NCEA prescriptions. These are suggested topic areas only – requests are catered for on an individual basis. Most current Geography programmes have become titles in the new ON DISK library for secondary school loan. All titles however can be screened and guided by teachers from the Film archive team.

Living on the Faultline: An Historical Geography of Wellington 1840-2000

The changing face of Wellington 1840 to the present. Newly formatted programme that expands earlier compilations on a multi-chaptered DVD. Looks at early settlement, portside, expansion into the greater Wellington region, new subdivisions, transport, the redevelopment of the CBD and the attitude of Wellingtonians to their place from the grey sixties to the absolutely positive present.
