  • Students are able to correctly identify the average minimum and maximum temperatures in tourist destinations within New Zealand in terms of the four seasons.

Activities

  • Students will each North and South Island average temperature records for the four seasons.
  • Students will be provided with average temperature question table.
  • Students will successfully use the North and South Island average temperature record to answer the average temperature question table.
  • Students will view the above film footage.
  • Compare this new knowledge to their prior knowledge of New Zealand. What new things have they discovered?
