Activities
- Students will each receive an Atlas, and a blank map of New Zealand.
- Students will be provided with a list of 14 National Parks.
- Students will locate and label those 14 National Parks on their blank map of New Zealand, assisted by their atlas.
- Students will view the above film footage.
- Students are able to clearly describe key geographical features of 5 National Parks.
- Compare this new knowledge to their prior knowledge of New Zealand. What new things have they discovered?
