Urban Settlements: Auckland

Lesson 22: Summary / Evaluation

Auckland Harbour Bridge, Pictorial Parade 98: Expanding Auckland (NFU, 1960)

Throughout the unit students are encouraged to check understanding with peers and their teacher. Class responses should be checked where possible to ensure all students are on board with understanding. The last two lessons provide the opportunity to construct an attempt at the end of year examination. Ideally this opportunity will be given again at a later date in practice examination conditions. It is an opportunity for the teacher to give direct formative feedback on the students’ work.
