Issue 59 of Newsreel, the Film Archive's bi-annual newsletter is now available to read online.

The winter 2008 edition summarises some of the activities undertaken by the Archive so far this year. Contents include coverage of the Digital Presumed Preserved seminar in February, the latest national programmes, news from the Auckland office, the opening of the Jonathan Dennis research library, as well as recent events in the cinema and gallery.

The next issue of Newsreel will be published toward the end of the year.
