The will of the late George Eiby established the Cinema Archive Fund, administered by the Guardian Trust, which has as its object the encouragement of the growth and use of the New Zealand Film Archive.

Subject to some specific qualifications, this encouragement is to be done by:

• adding to the material held by the New Zealand Film Archive;
• improving the safety, cataloguing or accessibility of this material; or
• assisting in research based on this material (or other New Zealand-related films) and the publication of the results of such research.

Applications to the Fund should be received by July 14, 2008
