About this Site
This website was developed as part of the Bank of New Zealand
Reeltime Project, a partnership between the New Zealand Film Archive
and Bank of New Zealand launched in January 2001.
The Reeltime Project focused on putting New Zealand's heritage
on screen, on tape and on line. It encompassed the Travelling Film
Show which toured screenings of early New Zealand films to communities
throughout the country; the expansion of the Film Archive's education
programme through loans of programmes to schools from 2002; and
the design and development of a major web site.
